Reach Learning Disability – The Charity

Flower Pod is part of Reach Learning Disability, a registered charity that supports over 200 people with learning disabilities from Nottinghamshire.

Reach run courses, social activities and projects to help people with learning disabilities develop towards the life they want in their own community.

The charity started as Southwell Care Project in 1999 and now has four bases – Reach Southwell, Reach Newark, Reach Mansfield, and Flower Pod. We also offer short courses in other settings across Nottinghamshire.

Additionally, our care support company, Reach Learning Disability Care Ltd, provides domiciliary care to adults with learning disabilities on a one-to-one basis.

A number of people with learning disabilities who attend the Reach bases in Southwell, Newark and Mansfield also come to Flower Pod to participate in our horticultural based Social Enterprise.

If you are interested in finding our more about our day service programme and facilities, or domicile care, please contact us or visit the Reach Learning Disability website.
